Chris McGonigal (C.D. McGonigal) is a photojournalist/photo editor based in Washington, DC. Before moving to D.C., Chris started out as an intern for a mid-sized daily in Leesburg, FL. From there, Chris moved up to staff, then to chief photographer, where he won numerous awards, including Associated Press Managing Editor's Photo of the Year in 2006. In January of 2007, Chris moved to D.C. to be a part of the photo staff at The Washington Times as a photo editor, where he worked on prestigious events such as NCAA Final Four and President Bush's final State of the Union address. Chris currently lives on Capitol Hill with his girlfriend Kelly and their dog Luna.
